Database of Spoken German (DGD)

Project Info:

The DGD is the Database for Spoken German ("Datenbank für Gesprochenes Deutsch"). It gives registered users access to corpora of spoken language from the Archive for Spoken German ("Archiv für Gesprochenes Deutsch", AGD). The DGD provides functionality for browsing, querying and analysing corpus data. By 2022, more than 16,000 users have registered for the DGD. Thomas Schmidt headed the project from 2012-2021 and was one of the lead developers.
