"ISO 24624:2016 Language resource management — Transcription of spoken language" is an international standard for transcriptions of spoken language, based on the guidelines of the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI). Thomas Schmidt developed the standard and headed the corresponding ISO/DIN project.
